Hasn’t this story arc already been repeated…and this year?

    Yes. And yes.

Don’t you feel special and valued now? I know I sure do . . . not.

Chillax. When Dana’s ready, she’ll be back with new ones. I’m enjoying these repeats, even if Phoebe has no cluie on how to be bad. She appartently has not had any exposure to Millie.

I love this strip, but I’ve got to admit all these reruns are starting to wear me down.

The pre-order link for the book lists the age range as 8-12. I’m 61 and I love this strip. Am I getting something wrong?

Nope, you got it right. I’m older than you are and I wouldn’t miss a day with Phoebe, Marigold and crew! My brother, who was a double-Ph.D., watched Rocky and Bullwinkle for the silly humor that grown-ups get from it. Humor and whimsy are ageless.

You have to be 8 to 12 at heart.

Indeed-the phrase that comes to mind is “popcorn for the mind”. If you have to work at having a good time, you are doing something wrong.

Here’s the problem. This website is is a WONDERFULLY interactive site which sends automatic alerts on the availability of ‘new’ entries from our favorites section. This means that we each continue to be alerted that it’s time to resume the story. Enter in excitement, and then annoyance. Yes, the site is free. The site poses no problem in this situation. The site encourages us to expand our collection of ‘favorites,’ thereby becoming a valuable tool for the artists who join.
Here’s the BIGGER problem. also keeps handy dandy archives dating back to the first entry of a comic. Well, most of them… this feature isn’t old enough for all of them, but it’s kept what it has in memory and seems to be adding further back, over time. The people running this website are fantastic for providing such a feature for new readers! Thank you,! However, Dana’s entries are continually being ‘updated’ out of order and out of sync with random re-runs. And then stored that way in archives. This oddity is screwing up the otherwise-simple feature for new readers who wish to get caught up.
A hiatus while Dana is busy would be much better appreciated. And also provides the wonderful opportunity for readers to publicly let artists know what they think, and then converse over it, via this commentator section. Of course, when the one and only concern is not about the strip itself but about the screwing up the archives bit, it’s strange to see such a concern continually shot down by certain other readers.
Now I’d love to stick to short, easily-digestible posts. If posting at all. But some (not all) who complain about the voicing of this legitimate concern are getting rather…
    Well, mean.

    I’m not mean.
    I disagree with you.
I like seeing a comic here every day.
Even the reruns are still fun.

    I said nothing mean.
