Now I want to see Marigold’s Lets Play I seen a lot of kids on youtube born after 1999 who can’t play super mario world to save there lives quit the game at the lost woods and call it the hardest game ever made because they still can’t figure out the controls. Tutorials spoil kids.

Also Nice how Marigold tries to bluff her way out of it. I wounder if thats Super Mario some thing? I can’t quite tell but it looks a bit like it.

What I always disliked was when a handful of people “got too good” at a game and the arcade cranked up the dip switches.

Then no one played it more than once until the difficulty got lowered to something reasonable.
When the old “Battlezone” game came out for PC, I bought a copy (several other games were on the disk, too) it was noteworthy that it had the same spot where it cheated. A direct hit on the front of a tank at a sharp angle “missed” both in the arcade game and the PC version. The shot would go right through the tank. Ooopsie.

It’s definitely Mario. I can make out some fluffy clouds, trees, but most tellingly: a pipe. The score and life GUI are in the correct place as well.

What’s odd is that you don’t normally play NSMB with both a Wiimote AND a Nunchuk. Plus, is it a mistake that in the first panel, she has the back side of the Wiimote in her mouth, and then she has the other side in her mouth in the next panel?

It’s interesting that Marigold can magically levitate and manipulate books (including turning their pages) and other objects, but has to hold the game controller in her mouth. Maybe RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) from electronic devices affects her magic at very close range?

Stadistic shows 90% of unicorns can’tbeat level 1 of Super Mario Bros. 75% of them can’t pass the second gomba.

If Marigold thinks that’s challenging, she should try Kid Icarus.

Was that a Harvard study, or one that the government spent a few billion on? Either way, unicorn studies are always an excellent use of resources.

I have a feeling her resplendency would out-sun the sun. Or is Kid Icarus a real game?

Darn, I was actually kind of hoping Marigold was up to more stuff while they were away, instead of trying (and failing) to beat the game.

I’ll freely admit… as a PC gamer, I have been guilty of relentlessly abusing the quicksave function of many games.
Speaking of PC games, if you want a really difficult one, check out “Antichamber”. That one’s a real mind-bender!

It’s real. It was one of the original games for the NES along with SMB, Metroid, etc. I’ve only played it on an emulator, but it is hard.
