Check out http://www.lileks.com/institute/gallery/knox/index.html for various gelatin salads. Better yet, check out the whole website on lileks.com – the Gallery of Regrettable Food http://www.lileks.com/institute/gallery/index.html . Had me amused fort awhile until I realized i ate some of that as a child. And on the original site, the Gobbler Motel in Wisconsin is definitely worth a look into the past.

“Better yet, check out the whole website on lileks.com”

Better yet still, people should post their long recipes there.

Piggy, you don’t even know that Jello jiggles?! Well, when the Ghost Hunters show up, just give them some jiggly green stuff with Cool h-Whip on top, and all will be well. That’s Cool h-Whip, I say….

2011 was “Year of the Jello Mold” at Whiting, Indiana’s annual Pierogi Fest.

Depends on how old it is if it should jiggle or not.

    That site is fun!
I like the bit at the end when the housewife is characterized as having 3 hours of chores to do in 2 hours and so has a “Pink Squirrel” instead. (In the middle of the afternoon.)

    “Pink Squirrel”

1 1/2 ounces crème de noyaux
1/2 ounce white crème de cacoa
    1 ounce light cream

The above recipe is from “The Bartender’s Bible” by Gary Regan

Re: The “Gobbler”: I doubt royalty ever stayed there!

Crème de noyaux is made from fruit stones to give an almond flavour.
White crème de cacoa is actually colourless.

    1) Paris should know by now that he doesn’t have a ghost of a chance trying to reason with Pig!
    2) “Jello just jiggles”…another terrifyingly tempting tongue twister!
    3) Think of how bad “Ghost Hunters” must feel!
