At its heart, Pearls Before Swine is the comic strip tale of two friends: an arrogant Rat who thinks he knows it all and a slow-witted Pig who doesn't know any better. Together, this pair offers caustic commentary on humanity's quest for the unattainable. Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams says that Pearls is "one of the few comics that make me laugh out loud." The strip has twice won the National Cartoonists Society's Reuben division award for Best Newspaper Comic Strip – in 2003 and in 2006.

Shoot misses = :-(

.
Remember: If you’re using a gun you pretty much have to be the one who starts and finishes the gun fight with one shot.
.
Also remember: If somebody wants you dead he or she is highly unlikely to meet you in a fair fight. You’ll be killed, and your killer will write the history of the “glorious battle.”

Shoot first, then shoot again, then shoot some more. Survivors will be shot.

My kind of guard duck.

Guard Duck’s philosophy has the attraction that it works, as long as you don’t run out of ammunition. He’s a practical duck, a survivor. Can’t say the same for the big-haired boss with the mysterious fading [in panel 3] tie….

You should shoot first and ask questions later.
Are you dead yet?

As in Viet Nam we kill ’em all and let God sort ’em out.

You know that whole shoot firt ask question’s later thing never made much sense to me since the majority of the shoot first group seem to shoot until those they might ask questions of are not only dead but hamburg. Guard Duck has it right, his victims are pretty much ya need tweezers to find enough of them to fill a matchbox once he gets done so why bother asking questions later.

Maybe GD could demonstrate good etiquette by saying “Sorry” after he shot someone…or saying “Eat lead, please” before firing. Just suggestions.
