At its heart, Pearls Before Swine is the comic strip tale of two friends: an arrogant Rat who thinks he knows it all and a slow-witted Pig who doesn't know any better. Together, this pair offers caustic commentary on humanity's quest for the unattainable. Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams says that Pearls is "one of the few comics that make me laugh out loud." The strip has twice won the National Cartoonists Society's Reuben division award for Best Newspaper Comic Strip – in 2003 and in 2006.

And commence mandatory GoComics political quarreling.

Two very good points here. First, both parties stink so vote them both out, do not vote for on single incumbent for starters. Second, yes, sadly the majority of voters are uninformed nimrods who actually should NOT exercise their right to vote since they do not take the time to really understand what is going on and end up doing more harm than good.

When Howard the Duck ran for president in ’76, he was with the All Night Party.

I usually vote republican, but I haven’t been registered with any party since 1992.

By far the most successful political party in all of history is the Incumbent Party. Something like a 90% lifetime track record.

Rat’s final comment has cut me to the quick! We have too many voters who know nothing about the candidates or issues, sadly, regardless of party.

Goat, you don’t really want more people to join you. It wouldn’t be “fringe” anymore if that happened.
Then they’d just go cause as much trouble as the Republicrats and Demopublicans cause now.

Give Pig a coonskin cap and a seat in congress.
might not help, can’t hurt more. At least pig cares. He has heart which must count for something!

Maybe Goat claims to be a part of the Rent Is Too Damn High Party. It’s a real party, but only in NY. Or maybe he’s into the Prohibition Party. It still exists but since ‘33 it hasn’t been that big a deal.
