    The bottom line is, Mother Nature has had it. Mother Nature is royally PO’ed, and she’s letting us know it.

    Time to take the hint and clean up the environment.

    Hey, let’s make it unlawful!

    I’d call this a joke except one state, North Carolina I think, made it unlawful to publish certain papers warning about Climate Change. (citation needed)

    All those people who were injured, some very badly, and all those people who lost everything they owned, that is awful.
    On top of that, many middle-class people are now plunged into the needy and deserving poor.
    And the extremists call the poor “lazy bums”! and “freeloaders”, and say “I don’t work to support others” are waiting a brief time, then will be saying it just as loud.
    The difference is only that some of these poor stricken people will not be saying it anymore.
    They are not lazy! They are not "freeloaders! We were told to LOVE our Neighbors and treat others the way we would like others to treat us!
    THINK ABOUT IT

    Nature does not respect political parties, or their positions. At times like these, we will see who cares about their fellow man. Will we be willing to help, or will this be just too expensive? Will we cut spending on tanks we are only making to provide people in Ohio with work? Was former-senator Ted Stevens willing to exchange the Bridge to Nowhere to help Katrina victims? This promises to be educational.

    Not that I disagree with you on environmentalism, but it’s spring in the tornado belt, happens regularly.

    didn’t both ok us senators voted no for sandy victims, saying it was a waste of money? wonder if they vote no for their fellow OK residents. also, in the last 7 days, 3 major tornado waves have hit (granbury, shawnee, and moore). the saying crap happens in 3s, well…

    Technically, Nature isn’t a “terrorist” (what with not having an agenda or anything….) but it sure can be an “enemy.” I can’t believe how terrible the damage was. It really breaks your heart.

    While the severity of such storms HAS increased, as predicted several decades ago with climate change, it might be noted the native tribes knew better than to depend on permanent structures across the plains in “tornado alley”.

    @capnLaz

    Seriously, Cap’n? You’re comparing global warming, which 97% of climatologists agree is happening right now, to The Wizard of Oz?

    Now, THAT’S entertainment.
