Hammy looks just a tad upset in 10th panel, might be time to check if his rabies shots are up to date?

I NEVER remember seeing Hammy mad about ANYTHING before! This kind of reminds me of the 5 ways of doing things we had when I was in the Navy. The Right Way, The Wrong Way, The Navy Way, The Captain’s Way, and The U.S.S. Meredith Way!The last one contradicted almost ALL the others, but it was usually the most effective, if not always totally legal!

    CBDD: Chronic Bad Decision Disorder
If there is a right and wrong way to do something, someone with CBDD will find a way to not only fail, but injure themselves in the process.

I had a friend who in lived in the cold Northeast as a boy. He confessed that he put his tongue on an icy flag pole, AFTER seeing another boy do it, get stuck, and removed with assistance.

To all who are claiming Hammy did not learn his lesson or made mistakes and didn’t learn from them, I say, au contraire mon ami. Hammy wanted a drink of water. Hammy saw the hose, knows water comes out and has probably seen pinkishes drink from the hose before. First time, okay so he didn’t do it right. So try again, this time hold the nozzle a little tighter. Third time hold it a little tighter and don’t pull the trigger white as hard. You see in a scientific experiment you have to duplicate it at least twice to confirm it did or did not achieve the desired results if you suspect any possible irregularity in the method. By his last attempt hammy was sufficiently convinced that it was his ability to retain possession of the nozzle that was his problem. So he sought a solution to the defect and used duct tape. Too bad he didn’t think about the other physical aspects of the situation. Sort of like those hillbilly rednecks, “Hey y’all watch this.” They’ve worked out the kinks to make it work, they just haven’t considered the collateral ramifications. I say kudos to Hammy for his problem solving skills. Now we just have to work on his foresight.
