Is that why? Of course now-a-days they say to sneeze/cough in your elbow or sleeve.

What happened to the days when people sneezed into hankies or Kleenex?

Ah, yes. Hankies. Take a piece of cloth. Blow your nose into it. Stick it in your pocket. Just lovely.

Anyone ever jump when sneezing?

Creators.com’s strip features the Joker’s mom.

I’d use a tissue if I can reach it but usually nothing is in reach.

Once I did jump it was such a strong sneeze. And I was smaller then too.

The rules for sneezing have changed since this 2004 strip. Sneezing into the elbow or forearm is supposed to keep the germs off the hands from which they can most easily contaminate others. As for hankies, I haven’t seen one it decades.
