We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

Was told in a cooking class some years back that classic French cuisine began with Italian chefs brought by Catherine de Medici when she married the French king.

Now Claire is having a foodgasm that is so expressive it could be in an R-rated movie. But it’s too bad Claire and Paul don’t seem to have this sort of sensual response to each other. If their carnal passions continue to be channeled into rich food, rather than activities more physical in nature, there is a danger of becoming behemoths as the calories are packed on to their frames.

Amen! And all the nude and angel paintings around don’t hurt the image either. ;-)

As they say:
Heaven is where:
The French are the chefs
The Italians are the lovers
The British are the police
The Germans are the mechanics
And the Swiss make everything run on time
Hell is where:
The British are the chefs
The Swiss are the lovers
The French are the mechanics
The Italians make everything run on time
And the Germans are the police
