We’ve all been through this. In fact we go through it every day. We all know how tough, but also funny, it can be, as we move through life’s situations if we take our knocks with good humor. And we know also how very rewarding it can be when we actually occasionally get things right.

And when they get to the Louvre, the Mona Lisa is not as big as you think it is.

And the crowd in front of the Mona Lisa is 14 people deep.

A la Mere de Famille (in Montmartre) is the best! (sorry for the lack of accent. I can’t be arsed to find it at the mo’)

Or as wonderful as everyone claims. I think it is one of the most overrated things I’ve ever seen and not worth the effort it takes to get to it.

Claire is moving so fast on the last panel that her hair is flowing.

I agree. Much better to see on a picture or website so you can admire it closer. If you get anywhere close to the actual Mona Lisa, I’m convinced they’ll taser you.

It is great to see works of art in person because the internet photos often vary greatly in color and detail. I did many impressionist paintings of my dear Cuddles Cockatoo before I saw a live exhibit of Monet in our local art museum- I may eventually redo my “Monet” (much looser brushwork) and others such as my Picasso, I have seen online with many different colorings, but I went with the first one I found.
