    Feeding your dog BARF can eliminate its tummy upset…and eliminate the need for you to clean up after it. Better the dog BARF than you BARF.

    In some Third World countries the Gerber baby food company attempted to send some food for them to feed their starving children. The people would not serve it to their babies because of the picture on the label. It was because the mothers thought the jars contained ground-up babies.

    The vet that looked after my mother’s dogs hated Mighty Dog. He said he had no idea what they put in it, but he’d seen several dogs literally dying, who would get up and try to eat it.

    when I was a kid, some Japanese emigres bought a can of Crisco because they thought it was fried chicken. (A big drumstick was on the label then.)

    @Nabuquduriuzhur

    You mean, Crisco is NOT chicken puddin’??? I wondered what happened to the drumstick. It still tastes the same.

    I recall from my military daze that there were no pictures on c-rations because they neither looked nor tasted like any recognizable food.

    Wacky Packages All New Series 10 has a Might Be Dog entry different than Mr. Parisi’s concept.

    The Anglican bishop of Spain looks startlingly like the Gerber baby. Known him for years.

    Turkey loaf was my favorite C Rats meal. I wouldn’t even bother with the Ham and Lima beans.

    @edclectic

    The “C” must have stood for “Crud” or something much worse.
