I wonder about her sometimes! breathing under water is not an issue but a flying turtle is….Hmmm……..Therapy is going to be fun when she gets older!

I’d rather see Danae AS the therapist.

    Turtles can’t fly?
    Don’t tell Gamera that!
Gamera vs Godzilla … who would win?
    My money’s on Godzilla.

    .
    yep.
    .
Sort of like the nutcases that be raising interest rates with a labor participation rate between 40% and 50%. (9 million more unemployed just from April to July). It’s all based on a few people with money buying up multiple homes and somehow that is twisted to mean that the housing market is rebounding…
    .
“We’re in a recovery!” when GDP/GNP would be negative if the numbers weren’t jostled a bit.
    .
They had a lot of practice from 1993 to 2001 when more than 50 million jobs flew the coop because of 11 million manufacturing jobs were exported by free trade. “Oh, it’s such a good economy…” was a common statement.
    .
It would be a morbid sort of fun to go make a recording of the many people in the news and in politics said “it’s surprising” when the numbers were not what they foolishly hoped for. At least I haven’t seen that in the news of late, particularly when half as many people are employed as under the last president.

As Freud might have said: “A cartoon is sometimes just a cartoon.”

Ahhh, redo… I have no problem with flying turtles. Terry Pratchett makes it work quite well.

I had to fix a minor spelling fail.

Is the memory from a dream any less of a memory than one from reality?……..Which one is real….?

For a far more horrific take on this kind of thing, read this.

Hey, wait a minute! Where’s the sock hanging on the end of the bed? We must still be in a dream…….Great, I like walking around in dreams…….

The turtle and water – it’s not the way I understood the expression, “You could screw up a wet dream!”

Reality is a collective hunch. Can’t remember who the quote’s from, and i don’t have time right now to look it up. Judy Canre, maybe?

How much is actually economists and how much is politicians and reporters picking which numbers to shout about.
And how much is fluff-headed professors teaching politically oriented economics instead of the real thing.
