Bruce: being familiar with the regulations, in numerous agencies, I WOULD support eliminating about 60% of them, and re-write even those of value, to make them clearer, IN PLAIN ENGLISH what they are doing. Also, while “righties” keep demanding regulations up for review disclose their cost to “corporate interests”, I think they must also look at those “regulations” that actually DE-regulate industries, and their COST to the public interest, including health, tax dodging, and other financial and long-term environmental costs. BTW, “environmental” includes a lot of things folks don’t think of, like energy consumption, light pollution, noise pollution, and the destruction of “open spaces” that play a significant role in MENTAL health.
