    Now that is an interesting concept. Like different universes with their own set of parameters. You will be conformed to fit. Nice weird looks here today Mr. Gilchrist.

    Clever. I love Rat’s ears and bow. I have a feeling Nancy is going to appear in Mr. Pastis’ strip pretty soon.

    What’s next? A visit to Cul De Sac? One can only wish…

    Who is the little character at the top of the first panel saying ‘See you in the funny papers, Nancy’?

    That’s a Yo-Yo, argy. They are little magical creatures that appear to live in Oona’s house, and they do mischievous (sometimes sinisterly so) things, like…Nancy said in an earlier strip, “See you in the funny papers,” to Oona, so here they are visiting different funnies. I’m with IGoPogo—I want to see them in Cul de Sac!

    @argy.bargy2

    Yo-yos are strange creatures invisible to everyone but Oona unless they want to be seen. Think of them as pranksters or gremlins.

    So Nancy DOES NOT see them?

    They’re from “Pearls Before Swine” by Stephen Pastis.

    Let’s just hope they don’t look like Dewey and Robert the Plant. I understand that Clovis-Rex, the zombie, is looking for them.

    Uh-oh. Those two could be trouble. Especially the one on the right. (Based on the “Pearls” strips …)

    This arc has been fantastic—one of the best I’ve seen in quite a while.
