    Technically, the definition of what is one or the other is kinda “soupy” at best, anyway….

    But, at any rate, Fritzi can read Nancy very well!, Like an open……. uh…….

    @SUSAN NEWMAN

    Well, I’m sure that she just doesn’t like to see clutter… Being an “only” (as in parent), it’s probably not so easy both being the “fun parent” and the “bad guy (er… relative term)” at the same time…

    I think, too, that if it was Phil’s collection all over the floor, she’d launch the same glare…. she’s a strong lady, she’s a pretty lady, she’s a smart lady…… she’s a TOUGH lady…

    Given how much comic book cost these days, Nancy must be rolling in cash.

    As Jackie Mason said “The dream of every Jewish parent is to see their son grow up to be a doctor. Unless, God 4bid the child is retarded. Then the dream is that he become a lawyer.”

    I remember when comics were a dime apiece. When I stopped collecting, most “regular” comics were over $3.00. I haven’t looked lately – I’m almost afraid to.

    I stopped buying when they went to 12c – and the sky was the limit from then on 15c -— up up and up.
    Historical note: The comics code was instituted when comics became very violent. The fall out from this was when MAD magazine began publication by E. C. Publications. Anyone care to guess what EC stands for?

    Fritzi’s must have been gone a long time. Her hair has gotten incredibly long.

    I remember when they went up to 12 cents apiece. My first encounter with inflation. Immediate panic!!! I saw DCs announcement of the price hike on the inside front cover of Green Lantern. When you only got 75 cents allowance a week, an additional two cents extra per comic really put a bite into your spending. I don’t know how kids can afford comics today.

    Wikipedia says that Fritzi is in her sixties. She sure looks like a healthy twenty-year-old to me! >SIGH< I wouldn’t mind having her body …
