    Not wanting to “hi-jack” the thread, I only wanted to say this reminds me of what I learned that helped me to see that sometimes, bad things happen because of our imperfection, and “time and unforeseen occurences”, but that there is hope for all in the future, and that in the meantime, it NEVER HURTS to show love for people, even when there’s no “special reason”! (Ecclesiastes 9:11;Romans 5:12; Isaiah 65:21-24; Revelation 21: 3,4;)

    @Josh Lyons

    “Love Conquers All” (Year Unknown)"
    If you need the year, Deep Purple’s was in ‘90,
    and Yes’ version (different song, same title) was in ‘91…. unless it’s a song different from either of those

    Plenty of bad things happen every day. Also good things. Humans can control the bad things humans do. It is up to all of us.

    Many things happen each day in the world, in our nation and in our towns. Sometimes it happens right in our own homes. But what a great message to share with our young ’uns.

    Thanks Guy.

    Other sad news: Jeff Hanneman, Guitarist of Slayer passed away May 3 at age of 49 of necrotizing fasciitis, most likely contracted due to a spider bite.
    He wrote their best-loved songs (including both “Raining Blood” and “Angel of Death”) off of one of metal’s greatest recordings of all time – Reign In Blood,

    My first thought when I got the news of 9/11 was “They may destroy, but I’m going to keep building.”

    Try the book When Bad Things Happen to Good People. It was written by Rabbi Harold Kushner, who suffered one of life’s greatest tragedies, losing a child to disease.
