Nancy was created by Ernie Bushmiller in the 1930s. Since 1995, the strip has been drawn and written in Bushmiller's classic style by Guy and Brad Gilchrist. Nancy is famed for its gentle humor and surrealistic sight gags. Nancy's childlike innocence never wavers. She remains a devoted friend to her pal Sluggo, and can be, depending on the situation, a conceited prima donna or a fun-loving, cute and cheeky little girl.

I’ll have to invest in that company that manufactures those red bows.
Unless they’re made in Chinese sweatshops.

We will get back to the romance frequently. There are many, many stories to be told……………with the grown ups…and the children!

The bare patch is where they had shovelled.
Actually, it’s easier to shovel 3" of snow twice than 6" once.
Tip: sweep off the snow when it first falls, and before someone walks on it! Once walked on, you have icy footprints to deal with.

@Guy Gilchrist
What worries me is that you actually CANNOT “continue” the romance, but have to stop and restart or else it becomes another strip. There are comics where the characters can change and grow. Nancy is not one of them. You have admitted as much, Guy.
Methinks you are writing yourself into a corner.
