   Pardon me, I’m a little confused (was never a follower back in the day, so I don’t know the origins) but if Fritzi adopted Sluggo (isn’t that what I’ve heard?) why does he live in his own dilapidated residence?

   Fritzi has never adopted Sluggo. Sluggo has his own family, though we never see them in the strip.

    I hope you’re all enjoying the Christmas story that began the other day….much more to come. In the coming months and year….there will be more twists and turns in our never ending story that is the NANCY comic strip. SLUGGO HISTORY: Sluggo has always lived alone. He has unseen “Uncles” that help out. That’s how Ernie Bushmiller carried it along. Since I took over, 17 years ago, I have had Sluggo spend quite a bit of time at Nancy’s house where he can be fed, etc.

    Thank You Chris, good information for the rest of us. I knew the history. Just want to know when will Child Protective Services will show up? J/K! I Love, Adore Nancy’s Strip. I’m near 60 so you can imagine how long I have been following it. Keep up the excellent work!
