Nancy was created by Ernie Bushmiller in the 1930s. Since 1995, the strip has been drawn and written in Bushmiller's classic style by Guy and Brad Gilchrist. Nancy is famed for its gentle humor and surrealistic sight gags. Nancy's childlike innocence never wavers. She remains a devoted friend to her pal Sluggo, and can be, depending on the situation, a conceited prima donna or a fun-loving, cute and cheeky little girl.

Looks like Aunt Fritzi may have a rival in that salesgirl.
LOL
Luckily, Tarzan has no rivale.

If Nancy loads up on ice cream like that too much, she won’t quite follow in Aunt Fritzi’s footsteps. Nancy would become more Blunder Woman than Wonder Woman.

Never! And I must respectfully request you withdraw such a slur on dear Fritzi.

That’s the key…a balanced diet!

I see a fall in Nancy’s life, and soon too.

Everest of ice cream

I worked in an ice cream parlor while in high school, to buy my first car. Ice cream was 2 dips for 5 cents. This week I took my grand daughter to Baskin-Robbins – $3.00 per dip!!

Reminds me of the movie series “Dumb and Dumber” and “Dumb and Dumberer”. Imagine if they made a third one called “Dumb and Dumbererer” …

Yeah, the dollar price labels keep me out of the candy machine around the corner, when I remember making sure we each had a dime for the candy macihine at my grandmother’s cousin’s nursing home.
