Saturday morning we drove about 50 miles to Camping World near Fort Worth and had them check it out. It turns out that the mobile mechanics had been correct. Of course, they can’t get the replacement part on a Saturday. They may even have to order it on Monday for delivery in a week or so. So, in the meantime, we had them show us how to reset that silly alarm, drove back to the campground and parked the RV, reset and put the jacks down. Pray that they will go back up when we need to move again! Camping World will call and let us know what is happening tomorrow. Hopefully the phone works….
We also scoped out the area and Lake Whitney itself, near the Whitney dam. It is part of the Brazos River and we found a place where you could walk down right next to the dam itself with a great view of the floodgates (which were all shut).
Today Michael went with me to church in Waco. (The nearest Calvary Chapel) It was a nice excursion. I love the country around here!
The weather here is in the mid-80’s, but we don’t seem to mind as much because of all the trees and the breeze.
Michael “goes” back to work tomorrow and I’m not sure what I will be doing. Everyone have a blessed day.
