This morning, I took the RV over and had the new tires mounted. They look good and there were no surprises about fees. They put some kind of “beads” inside the tires which make them self-balancing. So no lead weights needed on the rims.
After that, I met Michael at the new urologist’s office and we had that second consultation. This guy was so much better than the first one (they are part of the same medical group, so he had Michael’s records already). He was willing to answer questions rather than following a “script”, and put Michael’s mind at rest much more than any other doctor. He is going to switch doctors (The new guy said men switching from that first doctor is not an uncommon occurrence.) and has decided on a course of treatment. He’s actually getting his first “anti-hormone” injection next Tuesday and will get the tiny “targets” implanted the following Monday. After that, he will start radiation treatments around the beginning of September. Wow! Once he makes up his mind, he doesn’t waste time! Please continue to pray for him. The hormone treatment will go on for at least six months, and the course of radiation treatments will last approximately 8 weeks.
It’s 99.5 on my patio right now, which is about right for today’s forecast. However, Bing weather says the current temp is 105. I suspect that their thermometer is not in the shade.
