Arye, you are very welcome. I meant to let you know I had finally finished it. We can discuss it via email if you like.
David, Pinewood Derby was one of my favorite things about Cub Scouts, both when my brothers and my son were involved. I still have my son’s car. My dad built a track that could accommodate 8 cars at a time out of sheets of thin plywood connected together with narrow strips on top just wide enough for the wheel base of the racers. The thing was huge – 4 feet wide and at least 4 or 5 8 foot sections long. He was involved with the Northern Orange County Council in Anaheim, CA and all of the local packs used that track for years. Best part was Dad had a blast, too since he had to schlep it around wherever it was needed. He kept it at home in the garage. When he finally retired from boy scouting, he gave it to the council.
Good morning, Vagabonds.
