    I remember Marilyn Monroe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. In a similar situation she denied to her future husband’s father she was marrying the boy for his money. When the father persisted and demanded to know just why she wanted to marry his son if it was not for the young man’s money, she replied, “I want to marry him for YOUR money.”
