Quartermain: I got an e-mail from WWII- about two weeks ago saying he was going in for heart surgery, and haven’t heard since. (we got in touch re both having gone to the same college – at different times)
He was in WWII, I was in the Cold War -Turkey.

With the constant turmoil in the world, The USA will always need a few good men who will answer the call and we are and were a part of that. Some years ago a Marine, Col.John W. Thomason, published two books “Fix Bayonets”(WW 1) and “A Few Marines”(China in the 1920s)
Old WW2 is one of them, We wish him well.
