The guy with the pipe is using Jeff’s logic. Possibly a long lost relation?

This strip seems familiar. Didn’t it run a month or so ago?

Ironically, that’s a problem that persists today. One man claimed three empty homes in an upacale neighborhood that had been in foreclosure, moved into one and began renting the other two as though he was the owner. He just happened to move into one that was in the process of being sold. Consequently, when the new owners came to inspect the home, they were in for a surprise. He was eventually evicted and went to jail. A fine point of law on which he based his claim didn’t support him. The entitlement some people feel is incredible.
In another case, a family was out of the country for three months; and when they returned another family had moved in. They, too, were eventually able to evict the squatters who insisted the home belonged to them. The house and yards were trashed!

‘Sir, I’m afraid I’m going to have to ask you to leave’
Which is what Mutt should have said in the first place.
LOL… Excellent strip.

Now that’s chutzpah, or at least monumental stupidity.

@Quartermain MILLER
The last e-mail was dated 9-27 that he (WWII—) was checking into Tucson University Medical Center and expected to be there 5 days (minimum)- for a heart valve replacement.

Worse yet, what was the fate of their possessions in the house? Trashed or put in storage?

The next day, the man woke to find that the house had been torn down during the night, and he was now living in a Starbucks.

Thank you for the brilliant song, Quartermain.
Again, it was another one which I enjoyed.
I’m not sure if this is your taste but it’s one of my favourite songs which I am always singing and dancing to.
It’s fine if you don’t think much of it.
