I told you he’d be better off if the anti-matter explosion occurred.

And the anti-matter crises does not follow into any further strips. What a dud.

As for Chaucer, I got pretty good at reading it and understanding it back in the day. I still have my text. I still remember the line “Out of the dunghill came those words.” I think they are pretty explanatory.

English Lit. would have been so much easier if Chaucer had used spell check.

Chaucer would have been almost readable if he had used English we could understand.

So, make your choice, Monty! It’s been almost 700 years since that poem; why are you sitting around and feeling sorry for yourself?

    Per tumblr.com:
“For this was on Saint Valentine’s Day, when every bird cometh there to choose his mate.”

Actually he wrote just fine for his audience. Unfortunately, the language has evolved a lot since then. Try reading Beowulf in the original old English. I have a copy of it around somewhere. But the movies have done a great job of translating it. Mind you, I don’t know how accurate the are. lol
