I still watch the former, but lost interest in MadMen after last season. I LIVED those times! I also have not watched any that others have mentioned, but have over 100 shows on season pass (TiVo) and never use On Demand (I can’t save those to DVD).
When I visit my lover, he only watches history and science shows and I’ve seen most of them already. It’s OK with me, because I don’t care about TV when there, and my TiVo is saving all my (abbreviated list of) favs at home. I have a huge storage drive, but usually go there for 4-5 weeks at a time. Travel $ are the same regarless of my stay. I just have to arrange for landscaping and pool care while gone.
