Has anyone noticed that a Mrs. Butterworth bottle has a resemblance to a Frangelico bottle?
BTW, there’s a Mrs. Butterworth’s Auto Tags agency just north of Philadelphia. It’s run by a lady whose actual last name is Butterworth – she used to be a township supervisor in that area.

Reminds me of the $18 to $30 million theft of maple syrup in Quebec this year.

Mrs. Butterworth is showing what will happen if you use too much of her product.

Does this syrup bottle make my butt look big?
1MadHat said, 5 months ago
Actually, the bottle is smaller, it just costs more…..

ask her when she’s due

@1MadHat
That is true of so many of our products. A 6 1/2 ounce can of tuna is now 4 1/2 or 5 ounces. Same price. No inflation, costs the same per tin.

Thank you! Nobody believes me when I tell them this. No warning – just all of sudden they are smaller. Takes 2 cans to do what one did before.

If they use thicker glass, that would reduce the amount of syrup the bottle can hold. Or they can make the bottom of the bottle concave, like wine bottles (they call it the punt). Anything to disguise the fact that they’re charging more and giving you less.
