Should the stored blood of teenage Iraqi virgins necessary for Dick Cheney’s daily transfusions ever run dry and Satan finally escorts him to hell – unless Satan can’t stand Cheney either and gives Cheney a few lumps of coal and tells him to start his own hell – the evil inside him will find a fresh and supportive physical host in the body of Liz Cheney.

Let’s see….yjtripp47, David, Masterskrain, ailurophile17, and Omnius. AND (drum roll) ypoons7666, since it never hurts to have an in-house punching bag.

The daughter’s even worse than Daddykinz. A state with a population of 600,000 (and fewer voters) elect two senators, invariably conservative Republicans. Carpetbagger Cheney would be a disaster for Wyoming and the nation.

Wow, so many comments about Liz’s attitude on issues. I’ll have to reread them many times to make sure I know what issues she supports and which issues she doesn’t!

dear mike5 if she was to run as a democrat taking on an incumbent gop senator all the above would be cheering her

The cure for what’s wrong with masterskrain is for the Republicans to grow up and quit acting like the village idiots.
If that ever happens (and it’s not likely to), a lot of folks who think before they speak will feel much better.

She seems to be a public relations boon…

Lots of repubs are turning their back on her when a few years ago they would have embraced her as the second coming.

Maybe they are finally getting their act together..

I usually get my news here, research the subjects that cause the most ire.
Liz leapt off the pages at me so I read up on her preliminary speechifying before seeing this cartoon.
Dick is undoubtedly owned by satan,
Liz has not been tested in the real world yet.

“Democrats to get them this incited. I think I like her.”

Really? Is that how Palin and Bachman became household (bad) words in this country?

But you are completely unaware that the 2 parties have all but completely changed sides since the 1860’s?
1860’s Democrats – Conservative, Southern, Rural.
1860’s Republicans – Liberal, Northern, Citified (not exactly “urban” in 1860).
But you see no change since then?
How would you explain Strom Thurmond of SC? In the 1930’s a “southern Democrat,” but he later became a “Dixiecrat,” and then finally a Republican.
The Democrats were glad to be rid of him (and his old racist Southern ways) and the GOP welcomed him with open arms.
Don’t be so blind as to compare the old parties to the parties as they stand today.
If you believe they haven’t changed, then you are poorly read or simply delusional.
If you do know they’ve changed, but continue to press your specious argument, you are a hypocrite.

He won in the Electoral College. Gore got almost 1/2 a million more votes.
But if Bush “won” because of the Electoral College, then by that same argument OJ Simpson didn’t kill those 2 people because the jury found him innocent.
If you believe one, then you must believe the other.
I believe neither; I think it’s ridiculous for a man to lose the Presidency because of the outdated Electoral College (it’s been unnecessary and arcane since the telegraph wires crossed the country), and I think it’s foolish to presume OJ’s innocence in spite of what the jury decided.

I love a guy who quotes the Bible but uses as his avatar a character pointing a gun. Very Christ-like of you.
You question the President’s honesty and character, but I think the same slings and arrows could just as easily be directed at you.

Her father’s campaigning for her. As far as I’m concerned, that’s all I need to know about her. Though I think it’s interesting that the GOP leadership really doesn’t want her to run. Probably because the more extreme the GOP representation in congress becomes, the more unstable it will be. But that’s the trend, isn’t it? That’s the GOP of the future.
