As long as Congress remains unaffected by the pain the rest of us have to endure, they can continue to sit on their well-manicured hands and consider only the things that really matter: raising millions to fund their next campaign and getting re-elected. I should say, the GOP Congress. And they don’t even need OUR money anymore, as long as their true constituents – the corporate world – is there with their wallets open wide.

Is that why he ignored Benghazi?

Jason Linkins recently wrote: “Right now, the only thing preventing a major dental hygiene crisis in Red State America is that Obama has not publicly endorsed toothpaste.”

All you unhappy about losing the last election Republicans might look at this metaphor for your loss and failure to gain much traction with the bulk of the population. There is a lot of truth in it weather you like it or not and it does not bode well for you in upcoming elections.

Looks like some one did not pay the $75 fire dependent fee.

A local reporter who has been on the job for 30 years said that he gets emails every day from people who simply can’t accept that Obama is President.
I know a few of those. I refer to them as RWNJs.

“…The housing bubble Bush told us would pop…”
I don’t remember him telling us this. Could you show me where you saw/read/heard him talk about this?

“I still can not believe we have a majority that would vote for him the 2nd time around.”
Many are in the same boat as you. They cannot believe that the US put men on the moon, can’t believe that the Earth isn’t flat, can’t possibly concieve of much less believe that the moon isn’t made of green cheese. However, them not being able to believe such things doesn’t make reality any different. The same applies to you: You not believing that a majority would vote for President Obama to have a second term doesn’t cause all of existence to re-align to conform to your beliefs. No matter how often you state said beliefs.

Until Obama got elected, no matter what, the legislators Would work with the president. I had NEVER seen this degree of obstruction that the The GOP has been doing. It’s not much of an exaggeration to say if Obama says "the grass is green, they will say it’s purple.
Did even Bush, who gave away the surplus and started wars without thinking of how to pay for them, see this kind of non-cooperation?
No, because what is done or always was done was to work things out .
When I heard that the plan was to block EVERYthing, I thought NO ONE who loves this country could tie up government 4 years!
But that is exactly what happened.

In fact Obama tried so hard to meet the GOP halfway that the Democrats got pretty fed up and called him a caver.

The GOP refused to meet halfway or even less, they wanted him to crawl all the way to TTheir side.

The right wing is not just conservative anymore, it is extreme and almost cultish.

But do the PEOPLE who vote republican want a war with Iran, really?
We haven’t really won a war since WW2. It hasn’t mattered who was in charge.

That is not bad, since to really win is a nuclear war, and THAT means everyone looses.

I miss the give and take that used to be politics. At least things got done.

You are completely right, they would rather stall the country from getting anything done to hurt Obama than let anything good happen. I sure hope this Unheard of Behavior will turn most people off than on blaming Obama.
He spent most of his first term bending over backwards to meet them halfway.
The GOP would not touch halfway or even 3/4 of the way, it had to have 100% of the cake or they wouldn’t budge.
No CONGRESS has EVER acted this UnAmerican.

It’s a shame, that it’s not mentioned Obama set the house on fire, on purpose.

President Obama should make a public declaration; “Breathing is good.” Then sit back and watch as 98% of the Republican Party drops dead within 10 minutes. Maybe then we could get a second party that isn’t comprised of psychotic, delusional racists.

Pssssstttt, hey, guess what? Obama’s been president for over FOUR years now. When’s he going to start taking responsibility and quit blaming Bush?
