As long as Congress remains unaffected by the pain the rest of us have to endure, they can continue to sit on their well-manicured hands and consider only the things that really matter: raising millions to fund their next campaign and getting re-elected. I should say, the GOP Congress. And they don’t even need OUR money anymore, as long as their true constituents – the corporate world – is there with their wallets open wide.

All you unhappy about losing the last election Republicans might look at this metaphor for your loss and failure to gain much traction with the bulk of the population. There is a lot of truth in it weather you like it or not and it does not bode well for you in upcoming elections.

A local reporter who has been on the job for 30 years said that he gets emails every day from people who simply can’t accept that Obama is President. I know a few of those. I refer to them as RWNJs.

“I still can not believe we have a majority that would vote for him the 2nd time around.”-Many are in the same boat as you. They cannot believe that the US put men on the moon, can’t believe that the Earth isn’t flat, can’t possibly concieve of much less believe that the moon isn’t made of green cheese. However, them not being able to believe such things doesn’t make reality any different. The same applies to you: You not believing that a majority would vote for President Obama to have a second term doesn’t cause all of existence to re-align to conform to your beliefs. No matter how often you state said beliefs.

Until Obama got elected, no matter what, the legislators Would work with the president. I had NEVER seen this degree of obstruction that the The GOP has been doing. It’s not much of an exaggeration to say if Obama says "the grass is green, they will say it’s purple. Did even Bush, who gave away the surplus and started wars without thinking of how to pay for them, see this kind of non-cooperation? No, because what is done or always was done was to work things out . When I heard that the plan was to block EVERYthing, I thought NO ONE who loves this country could tie up government 4 years! But that is exactly what happened.

In fact Obama tried so hard to meet the GOP halfway that the Democrats got pretty fed up and called him a caver.

The GOP refused to meet halfway or even less, they wanted him to crawl all the way to TTheir side.

The right wing is not just conservative anymore, it is extreme and almost cultish.

But do the PEOPLE who vote republican want a war with Iran, really? We haven’t really won a war since WW2. It hasn’t mattered who was in charge.

That is not bad, since to really win is a nuclear war, and THAT means everyone looses.

I miss the give and take that used to be politics. At least things got done.

You are completely right, they would rather stall the country from getting anything done to hurt Obama than let anything good happen. I sure hope this Unheard of Behavior will turn most people off than on blaming Obama. He spent most of his first term bending over backwards to meet them halfway. The GOP would not touch halfway or even 3/4 of the way, it had to have 100% of the cake or they wouldn’t budge. No CONGRESS has EVER acted this UnAmerican.

President Obama should make a public declaration; “Breathing is good.” Then sit back and watch as 98% of the Republican Party drops dead within 10 minutes. Maybe then we could get a second party that isn’t comprised of psychotic, delusional racists.

This is EXACTLY GOP philosophy. They would see the nation fall into a depression before letting Obama get credit for making things better. A complete disgrace to America. They are simply pathetic.

The Repubs in the House use their majority to pass self-serving legislation to be sent to the Senate where they can manipulate the Filibuster rules (not available to the minority Party in the House) to their benefit> Sen. Reid is using the power available to the “Majority” to avoid opportunities for the Minority to obstruct business in order to get consideration for partisan programmed legislation. Republicans seem unhappy at the unfairness of not being able to ‘run things’ from the minority, while proclaiming their pre-eminence of Majority in the House…always wanting everything their way, both ways.

Hmmmmm, the Dow Jones is at an all time high, Obama is ruining America???? If he’s a Socialist, he is the worst one EVER!

Since another misguided soul wants to feign outrage over Benghazi – which repugs killed funding for extra security, lets revisit Embassy attacks under Bush the Younger:2002 – US Embassy in Karachi Pakistan – 10 killed2004 US Embassy Bomber in Uzbeki-beki-bekistan – 2 killed, 8 injured2004 – Gunmen stormed US Consulate in Saudi Arabia – 8 killed2006 – Gunmen Attack US Embassy in Syria – 2 killed2007 – Grenade launched into US Embassy in Athens – 0 killed2008 – Rioters set fire to US Embassy in Serbia – 0 killed2008 – US Embassy in Yemin bombed – 10 killed

So, what changed to cause your outrage over Benghazi? Could it be because we now have a lack President?Because from the way I see it, since Obama has continued almost ALL of Bush the Younger’s flawed policies – so much so that he his known as “Black Bush”, what else CAN it be????

As I mentioned many times before, I am a registered Independent. Both parties are cut from the SAME cloth. Until the President is elected by popular vote, I will never vote for a Republican’t, or a Demadon’t Presidential candidate – if you want REAL “change”, neither should anyone else.

No president ever has the kind of control you are ascribing to Obama. Even Bush Jr., who trashed the Constitution and signed more executive orders than any other president didn’t have that kind of control.

Maybe you can explain to me how ‘ObamaCare’ (which should be called ‘Romney Care, by the way, since it’s Romneys Health plan for Massachusetts, thinly disguised) could possibly be a ‘job killer’.

In the first place, most of the jobs that would carry full health care in this country have been ‘outsourced’. Most of what’s left is the kind of job where the employer will not give any employee more than thirty hours a week, because at forty hours, they have to provide health coverage. Huge corporations, of course, need full time employees, so they hire temps and contract workers, so they aren’t paying health care either.

So at the present time, it’s very hard to see how the Republican health care plan could possibly be a ‘job killer’.

I expect you can enlighten me, though.

“Carter-created Muslim dictatorship of Iran?”How do you imagine Pres. Carter could have propped up the toppling dictatorship of the Shah? Send in US troops? And as far as Bush being a rank amateur on spending compared to Obama; you’re correct that Bush was a rank amateur (on most things), but he was the king of “spending but not budgeting” (Iraq comes to mind). And we’re still paying for it today.
