Tell that to the prez. When he had 60 Democrats in the senate he had the same problem with them. In fact there was a cartoon of BHO on a horse trying to herd 60 cats and somebody standing there said “congratulations on your 60th cat.”

Boehner might be a rat but please don’t malign the feline world as in any shape resembling the wacko Tea Potters in the House.

The wacko tea Partiers that want lower taxes and less government regulation?

Dale N is correct. Do you knuckleheads who bash the “Tea Party” understand what it’s about? I didn’t think so! It’s about being “taxed enough already” and obama has a spending problem, which leads to him wanting more tax revenue. we’ve paid enough already!!! Cut some stupid programs, cut the fat, be reasonable and responsible. Why does someone need 99 weeks of unemployment? Or a free cell phone? Or food stamps & free housing for not just life, but generations? Cut the cord & people will figure it out. But the Dems don’t see that. They see that as cutting their base! Idiots and fools…

“Government spending has been coming down, and the deficit has been shrinking over the past few years as a percent of GDP, faster than any time since WWII. Meanwhile, most the deficit was created by Republicans and Republican policies in the first place: Iraq, Part D drug price rigging, corporate welfare, tax breaks for billionaires, the recession - why stand firmly and stubbornly in the way of anyone paying for it except the poor, middle class, elderly people and children?”

Yes! And cut Social Security, and cut the COLA, and cut Medicare. 40% of the federal budget right there. I’m tired of paying taxes for non-productive, free-loading, retired seniors.

Let’s start with the lifetime pensions, free medical care, and other perks for Senators and Congressmen. Let them set up their own IRAs, and just have a Congressional 401k program, so when they leave, they have EXACTLY the same retirement benefits as the Average American!
Let THEM see how long they can afford COBRA coverage on their health care, then let them buy and pay for their own health insurance.

The one thing wrong with this cartoon is that it should be the House of Rats because republicans are Rats, not cool cats. Crybaby Boehner, you got your big tax cut, now it’s time to eliminate the carried interest rule that allows corrupt billionaire hedge fund managers to make billions while paying less than half the tax rate they should be paying and skipping out on making their contributions to Social Security.

The federal government spends 15 times more money on Social Security and Medicare than it does on Food Stamps (SNAP).

Earth to Zit earth to Zit you’ve been sucking the faux noise bus from uranis’s exhaust again havent you?
Its all the repubby’s fault the need for welfare is directly related to the policies of the cheney/Bush reign of terror.
Give aways to the banks, unfunded wars, etc created the debt.
Allowing the banks to create lending practices that were designed to fail to short the market knowing the taxpayer would get stuck with the bills while expanding the access to middle class debt through equity loans created the debt.
Tax cuts that kill VOC in the real product markets created poverty and debt.
Your numbers like you are questionable please give us your sources!

Heres the snap spending layed out so even you can (but won’t) understand.

There is one comparison between cats and legislators that applies. Cats are egotistical, self centered, and when they reach out to others, it is usually in hopes of being fed, petted, or otherwise ‘appreciated’. There are cats that are empathic to owners and will actually leave a preferred spot to ‘comfort’ an owner/friend who is feeling down, but my experience has shown these caring cats to be rare. The only thing more rare, at this time, is a caring politician.
    Respectfully,
    C.
