    Having grown-up in Queens, NY, I’m convinced that Lila’s mom is Jewish. She sounds just like half my friend’s Mothers back in the day.

    My mother wants grandkids so bad that every visit lately it comes up. My sister is game (so is her fiance) but me, I tell her that she has her grand kitty and that is as good as she’ll see from me.

    OR, Lila could use in-vitro fertilization, one of her eggs, sperm from a donor, and hire another woman for the gestation . . . there’s an old cartoon of a pregnant woman saying to another woman= “No, I’m just carrying it for a friend!” These days that cartoon is possible. . . but would Drew go for it?
