   I miss her too. Sadly, Lila ceased production, so it’s back to the beginning. Like way too many comic strips lately.

   It was a money issue, the writer could no longer afford an artist. He does rewrite some of them for modern times. Maybe one day he can start up again.

   He is also taking care of an aging parent and working full time and trying to do all he can to keep Lila going until she can be resurrected so to speak….I will continue to read it daily and catch up on parts I missed previously….Give the guy a break…He is still here communicating with us, and he does update stuff and its still one of the most worthwhile comics around…

   I give him all the breaks he wants and needs. I just hope someday he can create more. Until then getting to enjoy the early ones.
