Absolutely classic! Granted, Mitt was unfairly criticized for an honest slip of the tongue (albiet a funny one), and granted, Obama’s first choice was a woman of color railroaded out by the Repubs because she said what the CIA told her to say, but still… FUNNY!

Unfortunately even the women in Mitt’s binder probably can’t get through the congressional repubby’s obstical course either!

From the White House report to Congress, In 2011 (the last date I could find), of the top 21 positions in the White House Staff, all the exact same position, with the exact same pay, 7 ere women. That’s 33%, sure beats the 18.3% in the current Congress that are women, all at varying pay rates. Of the 78 women in the House only 20 are republicans, of the 80 women in the Senate only 4 are republicans, That;s roughly only 4% in either chamber that are republican women. And of the newly elected women only 16% are republican women.
So who is the greater bigot, misogynist or chauvinist, the White House or the voters and which voters?
As usual conservatives and wuerker miss the point completely.

Wondered when this joke would pop up.

Mitt was unfairly criticized for an honest slip of the tongue? Did you read the same stories I did? He was rightly criticized for his dismissive attitude towards women and poor record in hiring them overall, and his “slip” was Mitt trying to claim he was looking for female staff when in fact those binders were provided to him by an organization trying to GET him to hire some women.

Is Hillary not part of the staff?

@Radish
I guess they are not counting Hillary since she is taking 4 years off, I hope John Kerry is approved.

An African-American President doesn’t need to allow Affirmative Action to intervene with his picks for the best people available and willing. He’s Teflon-coated on this! And with the women-thing: the VERY FIRST LAW he signed was the Lilly Ledbetter act. I don’t care about the number of women in the cabinet, I care about the laws that help woman to GET into the cabinet!

She is a department head. Not a staff member.

“Don’t be too hard on Lord Ears about women, he DID put two absolutely unqualified broads on the Supreme Joke.” I dare you to repeat that in a roomful of women (that are not in binders). It is you that is the joke, and you are not funny, troll.

There are other appointments to be made. Labor Secretary and Energy Secretary are open so far. You are a strange one for arguing “affirmative action”. Shouldn’t it be the best available person in all circumstances?

Women should run the government. Men are too angry and testy about everything.

@Wabbit
Well yes I probably am, but I’d still be better at running the government than my ex-wife… oh wait, did I say that out loud?
