Always thought there was something wrong about Edwards. His wife was being treated for cancer but it was more important to him to run for office than put his efforts into getting his wife cured and cared for. Along the line of Newt wanting to discuss divorce terms while his first wife was in a hospital bed recovering from cancer surgery.

There IS a difference between people who even admit they’re “creepy” when it comes to “morality”, but that doesn’t show up in law. Well it does in religious law, like Leviticus that the “religious right” want, but that would be the same as “Sharia”- oops!!
Most of the world doesn’t care what people do in their bedrooms. They don’t want their nations punishing people for those behaviors. So, why is it the “Don’t tread on me” people, here, who DO??

I don’t think it’s the bedroom that’s on trial. I think it’s the cash box.

Well, technically, if he’d been a wanker, none of it would have happened …

@dtroutma
Trout, the man took money that was supposed to be used for the campaign to hide his extra marital relationship. OK, he can have all the extra women he can pay for. That’s the rub. All HE can pay for not pay for with constituents money contributed for a specific purpose.
But he is a politician and does not see the difference. He thinks your money is his money. Just like all the rest of them in DC.

Scandalous? Yes. Illegal? Doesn’t appear so.
Gotta love campaign finance laws…

Yes, and the world would probably be a better place if we had more of those.
