Man: Ugh, this attack in Paris. So awful. *POSTS THING* WEE-OO-WEE Internet Policeman #1: Internet police! Internet Policeman #2: Guilt Division! Internet Policeman #1: These things happen EVERY day in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria! BAD Man: Wow, I thought things were great there. I feel bad. Internet Policeman #1: You should. The important thing right now is splitting hairs.
The Baath Party was secular. Since it was not formally Islamic, let alone Salafist, Baath Presidents played the US off against the USSR. Clearly, every member of the Baath Party must be removed from power. We can’t allow anyone who can be friends with the USSR. The good Salafists would never have any relation with an atheist nation. Given the choice, Islam forces them to choose a Christian nation over an atheist nation (they’d prefer neither, but that wasn’t an option). Which is what we want and need..The disobedient MacArthur, ordered to execute the Emperor of Japan, kept him as nominal head of state. He told the Emperor what to say, the Emperor said it, and the Japanese did it with very little resistance to the American occupation. Completely wrong..The US went into Iraq, fired every member of the Baath Party, every member of the armed forces, and gaoled many of them. This was the right way to deal with them. But, even though gaoled and subjected to ‘enhanced interrogation’, they didn’t learn. When Obama pulled out in the year Bush, jr had promised to pull out, these unreformed Baathists formed an army and took over Western Iraq and Eastern Syria. The US never agreed to leave the Germans or Japanese after we defeated them, and we’re still there 70 years later. Obama should NEVER have agreed to withdraw on the date Bush, jr had set in cement. Breaking solemn promises is the duty of the US President. The US is the Greatest Force for Good ever. Everyone killed by the US in the Global War on Terror was a heinous criminal terrorist, just by virtue of being killed by the US: since the US is 100% good, anyone they kill is obviously evil. Everyone killed by the Daesh (ISIS in English) is an innocent victim, just by virtue of the fact that the Daesh is pure evil, so anyone they killed must have been good. When US soldiers are shooting at the Daesh, they have every right. If the Daesh shoot back, that’s a heinous criminal offence. And this is obvious to everyone who isn’t either pure evil, or badly misinformed.
