    Snowden was born after 1964.
Too bad we can’t hear the intercarrier buzz many TV’s had.

You were under the impression that when you were walking forward you’d end up further onward. Well things ain’t quite that simple.

President Obama has performed his duty much better than any of his predecessors. Under US law, what information the president binds as secret shall be bound throughout the earth (and in the heavens), and what the president looses as a proclamation must be set loose throughout the earth (and in the heavens). And yet, when someone leaked stuff before, the presidents, like Johnson in ‘64, did nothing. Nixon never found out who Deep Throat was.

Contrast that with Obama. Someone leaked to the AP that someone in Yemen had threatened to hijack a plane, a fact Obama ordered bound as secret. When the AP published this information, Obama had the AP phone records and computers seized, and will prosecute the leaker to the fullest extent of the law, probably confining that heinous criminal naked in an unheated cell and seeing that the traitor is subjected to the most enhanced interrogation anyone can come up with.

This is what all Obama’s predecessors should have done any time any information was leaked, but most failed to carry out their duties.

You can’t even get information from the cartoon correctly. It was the FBI not the CIA (see panel 1).

Good, Genome, a shot of truth.
IMO, we have both liberal and conservative media..
The problem is sensationalistic media…there is far too much of that..

This I agree with you on.
Let them spend on Investigational Journalism, not this hype of the day talking heads that is pasted as news. Gossip and everyday occurrences are not news, IMO.
For instance, in the small markets, car accidents, which occur and are reported daily are not news, how many occur at points that need repair or improvement are, or what can be done to reduce them.

“What did the CIA find out about MLK?” IT was the FBI and basically they found out he was cheating on his wife. Nothing un-American or traitorous (unless you define adherence to racism and segregation as loyal).

fairtoeveryone: They never said. The FBI released some fiction, but it was quickly falsified. The most notorious was the lie about an orgy during the march from Selma. What was going on that night was a strategy session involving most of the southern clergy who believed what in those sexist times was called “the brotherhood of man under the fatherhood of God.” My pastor was there and informed the congregation. With walking 30 miles per day for almost a week, it is a wonder that anyone could survive strategizing until two in the morning, much less what Hoover claimed.
