To be funny it should have some truth to it.

The idea is that homeless are more tolerated by authority than citizens peacefully assembled to express political ideas that Wall Street and the police who work for it doesn’t like.

Actually, my brother-in-law is a bit of a drunk, and while finding many a “friendly” park bench, he found it was a VERY bad idea on the Palos Verde park bench, something about that “up scale” neighborhood being less friendly, and a ticket to jail.

I used to live in a very liberal town where sleeping in public was illegal..when I lived in a much more conservative town, people used to feed the homeless…so this must be in a conservative neighborhood.

The Occupy Movement has highlighted the class warfare that the rich wage against the rest of us. The rich already own the Republican Party and a big piece of the Democratic Party.

In 2012, we must elect progressive candidates who will tax the rich, close corporate loopholes, cut the military budget, and spend money to help America & Americans.

“I have heard that most of the homeless CHOOSE that lifestyle, living under a bridge is preferable to a nice place to sleep.”

And I heard “Mikey” from the Life cereal commercials died when he mixed Mentos and Coca-Cola. What’s your point?

Don’t forget the libs in the ACLU who also wanted those places shut down

The point is that there are many who choose this way of life and you can only use force to get them to to live their life as you wish them to. Mikey has nothing to do with it.

Of course they want to be homeless. Who wouldn’t want to sleep under the stars, or stay huddled around the ole camp fire/trash barrel, while they eat half eaten thrown away gourmet slop? I mean wouldn’t anyone in their right mind prefer that, to a warm or cool home depending upon the season? Oh that’s right many of them are not in their right mind. Of course it is all Reagan’s fault for putting them out of the mental hospitals. — Especially since there have been no other presidents since then that have had the balls to seek real change and advocate for those who are unable to advocate for themselves.

I definitely want to go back to the late 70’s before Reagan. When there weren’t any homeless or poor in America…

Do like I did and volunteer in the homeless shelters and report back.
