I saw a six minute film about the inequity of wealth in America that has had almost 4 million viewings. Those 1%ers have more money than I thought.

Hmm, a slight aside: read of a nurse who lived in Riverside County (a housing tract) and drove to Santa Monica every day to work, right next to another nearly identical housing tract, choosing her home for the “lifestyle”. (Where the neighborhood “rules” mandated what color she could paint her shutters, and how high her grass (lawn) could grow!) It cost her a fortune in time, and gas (30% of her earnings!!). YEp, “lifestyle choices” ARE contributory to a number of our “problems” today.

The bottom people get nothing, the top people make more in an hour than the average person makes in a year. These are the people the Tea publicans are protecting.

Thanks. I knew there was a huge disparity. I just didn’t know how big. It is much bigger than I thought.
I’ve shared the link with others.

Nothing like a video about wealth “distribution” to fire up the wealth-envy crowd. That’s the true purpose of the video – to make people angry at the very rich. Then the government buys your vote by promising to take it away. They don’t even have to promise that your life will be made better anymore. Just that they will sock it to the “evil rich.” Then the government wastes it on bloat and inefficient programs.
But you feel better, because a rich person was made a little poorer.
