Oh no, don’t blame both of them. It has to be one or the other. By the way, you forgot the donkey.

You’re right. And guess what – the public blames the Republicans. http://tinyurl.com/awocekb

It’s amazing. Less than two decades ago Republicans in Congress forced a government shutdown – and lost badly in the next election. Now they are trying it again, and ignoring the signs that they are going to take the blame again.

Have y’all noticed that the Rednecks haven’t yet decided if the sequestration is a “good thing” or a “bad thing” yet?

Sometimes it’s good because it will cut government spending, sometimes it’s bad because the military will be weakened, sometimes it’s good because it will decrease education and child support, sometimes it’s bad because because they may lose their jobs. Sometimes they want it go through, sometimes they want it to be stopped; sometimes they want deals to be made, sometimes they want to stand up to Obama.

Obviously, Faux News hasn’t told them what to think yet. Once it does so, we’ll see the opinions coalesce.

But one thing they DO agree on, whatever the hell happens, IT’S ALL OBAMA’S FAULT.

It’s not a tie. Aren’t you supposed to watch the movie if you’re going to vote on the award?

Let the sequester happen. It is the only way to get Owebama to stop increasing spending every time he turns around. The only thing the man wants to do is punish the successful with higher taxes. It would serve him right if they all left the country!

Can I just say that I was suprised that when I watched the Oscar roundups, they all seemed to say “Oh, no big suprises, everything went according to Hoyle.”
    .
Robert De Niro (Silver Linings Playbook) was up against Tommy Lee Jones (Lincoln) and Christopher Waltz (Django Unchained) won? That wasn’t a surprise to everyone who thought it was between the two old guys?
    .
And then there was a tie (I forget for what). Not a peep about it.

I agree! it is not the dems. OR repubs., it’s the dems AND repubs.
when 2 parties cannot reach an agreement, or are at an impasse a 3RD party is needed!
Nadar said it in 2000; they are 2 sides of the same corporate-money infused coin! that’s one of the main reasons for the fiscal problem. corporations that are profiting BILLIONS still recieving 100’s of MILLIONS in tax breaks while spends BILLIONS on lobbyists to accomplish this feat!
