My prediction, in two years a bumper crop of sea food will come out of the gulf.

Good luck with that prediction, harley. How much are you willing to bet? Some fish stocks in Alaska have still never recovered from the Exxon Valdez…

Cold waters in Alaska left a somewhat different legacy, the Gulf could end up MUCH worse- because it is spawning and reproduction, not just a few species, but the whole food chain, from bottom up- literally.

dt you show your ignorance when you compare the gulf to Alaska. The warmer weather is a plus, the oil is sweet light not heavy crude and there is history to look at in 79 there was a spill, that area has recovered. So yes i can make an educated guess in that the Gulf will be all right. With the limited fishing this year, the extra nutrition in the water next year with most likely less fishing because of the “scare” this year, Yes I can say that 2012 will have a bumper crop of fish in the gulf.
