When I was about 4 or 5 years old, I deliberately broke a window because my mother went shopping and didn’t bring home an item I had requested (probably one of those Little Golden books). I didn’t throw a ball, though. I used my fist. I got about 100 yards down the alley before being caught. I don’t remember what punishment was administered, but in those days spanking was the rule.

So that’s why she threw the ball too high.

He’s not going to try to pin this on Joey? Wow! To have lived in a neighborhood like this growing up! My dad loved those factory workers, but they have their peculiarities. They don’t want to pay for their broken windows. Probably because of their high beer expenses, and other out of control spending.

Frustration is our life. Best to get her use to it now.
