    If Maria, even with Joey’s help, tries to change that heaping garabe can, it’ll be more of a clean up job (most likely left for Mom).

    This is where exaggeration comes in. It’s a comic, and we sometimes make things more than they are in life for effect, see.

    This reminds me of dragging those old steel cans to the road on trash day as a kid. The handles were broken off, the lids didn’t fit and they were badly dented and heavy.

    It’s kind of funny, thinking about it now how I had all those chores; mowing the lawn, shoveling snow, shoveling the sewer line, painting the house, painting the fence… If I didn’t do them I would be sent to bed without supper. But if I did do them I was also sent to bed without supper. My mother had a cooking odor allergy or something and preferred not to cook.
