She was asking Ox if he’d like to be Delta’s dream man.

“Okay, was Bernice asking Ox to be with her, or Delta?”

Since Delta mentioned looking for a partner in improving the world, it’s for Delta. Fear not, Bern is still floating loose…

At least neither of these 2 will do anything to hurt Ox.

Yeah, she was talking TO Ox, but she was really talking AT Delta (and being just a bit sarcastic about it, too — hence Delta’s frosty reply!).

I always buy a few extra coloring kits, make a batch somewhere around August or September, and bring them to work in my lunch, mentioning something about cleaning out the refrigerator over the weekend. Not only is it fun and messy to color them again, but the looks on the new hirees who don’t totally know me and humor yet is just short of sheer pricelessness.

…Well, Delta wanted a man who’d help her do good. Ox is…certainly that.

I feel so bad for Ox. Sure, Bernice is digging at Delta, but it’s at Ox’s expense. Delta’s reaction makes me shake my head because I get the feeling she’d never go for someone who wasn’t perfect (nee: impossible), especially a thick ole teddy bear like Ox.

Something has to backfire here. Bernice appears to be messing with both Ox and Delta. I think Delta is more aware that Ox has feelings that could get hurt real quick in this situation. I don’t see Ox and Delta as an item. However if Ox is sharp enough to catch onto the game, he could make this pretty interesting for a few days.

The guy I used to work for years ago was totally lost when it came to holidays and even his own anniversary. One day, just to mess with him, on the 14th of September, I told him I had bought my wife a card during lunch. (I didn’t mention that it was for her upcoming birthday) We started talking about holidays and I mentioned that, you know, Valentine’s always falls on the 14th. He left and returned about half an hour later later saying he couldn’t find a Valentine card and that one of the employees in the store wondered why he was looking for one in September. Never did learn his lesson.
