LUANN is about the trials of becoming a young adult: the hilarity and drama, triumphs and flops, friendships and rivalries. Rich in character and intriguing "what'll happen next?!" stories, LUANN is a compelling saga of life's most volatile stage. “I can’t figure out how Mordy and Levy are so far ahead of me in the number of comments race.
.
Donny, I went and figured it out for you. You have been a member since August 2012. 4 months.
I have been here since September 2011, 14 months. My posts start on day one of Luann, and I have been generous in applying comments all thru the years.”
…
Lev – He’s probably thinking (yes, thinking) that all his comments carried over from the old site, which they did not. Maybe Sheriff Mordecai can remember his count from the old site and add his current count to that….
…
The one you have to watch in the comment race is MikeyJ – you’ve been here for 15 months and have only 6000+ comments. Mikey says he has been here for a scant month and has already racked up about 2400 (albeit not all on Luann). I, on the other hand, with this post, will hit 598. Coming from Texas originally, we hate to get in a hurry over anything, y’all.

I have never figured out why the dark haired ladies such as Crystal and Rosa have their eyebrows exactly where they are supposed to be, but the light haired girls such as Luann and Tiffany wear theirs way up high in the hair.

It could work. Maybe dinner at 7 pm and bowling at 8:30 pm? I am guessing that would be from 11 am on for him. I think that most bowling places are open late anyway on Fridays and Saturdays.

And maybe Quill could go bowling at that time in Australia. There are some bowling alleys that open at 10 am, so that would be perfect. Would not be fair if he could not play along.

I love to bowl. I also love to golf. The only problem is I get the two games confused. When I bowl I get scores Tiger Wood would kill for, and when I golf if I could transfer the score to bowling I would have perfect games. Sometimes even better than perfect games.

Let me see if I understand this………. Luann, Rosa and Gunther would be at one alley bowling, while Quill would be all by himself at another alley bowling with his laptop??? Gee, that must be alot of fun for Quill.

About four miles from here, there is a bowling alley that stays open 24/7/365 (or 366 on a leap year) and at times turns out the main lights, kicks on the black lights, and they have glow – in – the – dark bowling. If you use the house balls, they glow in the dark. Honestly, truly.
…
Not a terrific bowler at 151 scratch average, but one night after a couple of beers, threw a 244.

I just cannot picture any sort of sparks flying between Lu and Gunth. No way, no how. They have more of a brother/sister relationship.

Donny is an old-timer from Comics.com.
(He will remember the ClydeFrog pondscum skirmishes, before that character got expunged.)
I agree that perhaps Donny is confusing this site with his now deleted contributions
His manifestos are breathtaking. I just wonder if anyone reads them.
But if this site had word count, he might well be ahead of all, even at this early stage.

Go back to the earlier days of the strip. Gunth was the first boy Luann kissed and Luann gave Gunther his first smooch. They went to dances together, attended a play, Gunth carried her up a hill piggy back when she hurt her ankle, comforted her when she had her wisdom teeth removed and many other things. He gave her the phone that helped her escape what was at least a very uncomfortable date with Miguel and they had many other adventures together. They were drawn for each other. Those feelings are not dead, only sleeping and waiting for the right moment to wake up.

We do not forget, we just do not care. It is as real or as imaginary as each individual wants it to be.
