Yeah, there is our girl. Too bad that the earliest we will see her again will be next Sunday, and maybe not even then.

Luann, Quill is not around. Let me suggest you get with Gunther and experiment. He would be a willing participant.

For Bernice, dissecting a frog would be a useful life skill. She wants to be a veterinarian. She needs to be ready in case Kermit ever comes in as a patient.

It has been so long ago that it is in the category of ancient history, but as I recall, I was a junior when I had to rip a frog apart. Maybe our two lady friends are also.

What’s funny is that I never actually dissected a frog. Cut off the heads of some fish to send to the lab (by FedX so the DNA wouldn’t get screwed up by the X-rays), but never had to use any of those particular “skills” taught in bio… Lots of photos, lots of legal descriptions of specimens, even some drawings.

Well, Levi, it seems Evans has taken pity on you, and granted thy fervent prayer.
Perhaps you should stop pestering the poor guy now.

That’s it? You finally see your girl and still you complain? Go soak your head.

Dissected the frog and several other things in my junior year. Sure helped out in my field of communications technology and industrial electronics, indispensable in getting my FCC ticket…

In high school, they give you pickled frogs to dissect. In college bio, they give you live frogs and make you pith them. Guess how many frogs I’ve pithed in the last 40 years. Pith on it.

A Sunday one shot is hardly a story line during the week now is it? I like Bernice too but she just can’t carry the story it seems from Greg’s point-of-view.

We disected worms in high school. Disecting anything is sick.

Those questions should be addressed in Health class.

There is a certain irony in dissecting this strip and sorting out its components. For reasons way too complicated to explain here, I didn’t take biology in high school: so I dissected a frog as a freshman in college. As I recall, we enjoyed our water pistol fights with the professor (who wrote the then-widely used textbook).

I dissected a rat in high school. Suffice it to say, I don’t know why any female rat would ever bother to be impregnated.
