LUANN is about the trials of becoming a young adult: the hilarity and drama, triumphs and flops, friendships and rivalries. Rich in character and intriguing "what'll happen next?!" stories, LUANN is a compelling saga of life's most volatile stage. Greg Evans was voted Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year in 2003 by the National Cartoonists Society.

no here is stoopid… if TJ was named Chief and was female we would call her Miss Chief… which is what he’s up too

Maybe this is an episode of “Undercover Boss?”

Ann submits idea as hers, gets disciplined & sacked, TJ takes over.

Do not forget that he is setting her up for failure. That was his promise to Brad. “Your time’s a comin girl.”

I think Greg knows perfectly well what he’s doing. Patience, Grasshopper… with any grace, your eponymous character will be sent down the chute to the garbage bin in relatively short order. :)

I’m with you Alain H., he knows precisely what he’s doing. If he didn’t, the strip would have died years ago. You can’t just concentrate on ONE story arc all the time -he has a number of story lines going -personally, I like the complexity of multiple plots (I mean, such as it is, within the bounds of a comic strip). Feedback from fans is all well and good, but if he doesn’t have a mind of his own, and the force of will to see his own story told as HE sees fit, then he is doomed to being a follower, not the story teller.

Soooooo, WHAT will happen Next?
The Local “Nanny-State” Shutting Wienie World because it sells “unhealthy food” or Local Activists (Led no doubt by Delta) Picketing WW Because it serves “Sexist Food”??

Almost feel sorry for her

TJ is playing her like a vintage violin! She will defiantly pass the “idea” up as hers, and Corporate will come down so hard and fast she won’t know what hit her until two days after she’s been run out of town….

…or. somebody choking on one of those toothpicks?
Wesley_B said, 9 months ago
Ann violated her agreement with TJ. Ooops. Time for him to walk? And, Kerumbo? NOBODY…not even a stupid idiot…is stupid enough to leave toothpicks in the food being eaten. TJ is con artist extraordinaire and Ann is fool supreme. That is why Greg never allows any hanky-panky with ‘em. Stupid people shouldn’t breed!
