   is it just me, or does the strip seem to be preparing us for a time shift or something? suddenly, it’s college and careers. also, when’s the last time we dealt with Luann herself for this long at a time?

   Ohhhh. Is she ready for unsupervised alone time with Quill? It would be a good bet they will make out. This being a family strip they will not go very far. They will break off or get interrupted. The parents get back earlier than expected or whatever.
