I always laugh when I see advertisements for “Swimsuits 1/2 off!”
This girl really didn’t need to worry about her weight…she just needed to wait until she filled out in the right places. Nature is a powerful thing.
Thirteen year olds obsessing about their weight … pertinent then, more or less so now, depending on how you look at it. Maybe when everybody is obese, it derails the obsession.
Seems like a poor tradeoff to me …
Boys tend to handle the problem better by increasing activity. Girls are more likely to get involved with dangerous diets.
